Чуковата мелница La Meccanica се използва за намаляване на размера на суровините чрез удар, като превръща по-едрите материали във фини частици, подходящи за последваща обработка. Тя е съществена част от производството на фуражи, подготовката на биомаса, обработката на торове и рециклирането на материали.
